The company, owned by Jim Longstaff (Chairman) and business partner, Adrian Hutchinson (Managing Director) was named Winners of the Outstanding Single Depot Hire Company category after being shortlisted and judged by their Hire Industry peers.

After receiving the award, Jim Longstaff commented “We are not the biggest hire company and have no aspirations to be so”. “We do though, have a fantastic team who are dedicated and focused on providing outstanding customer service and ensuring that our customers are able to hire the right equipment when they need it”.

“The team of 19 staff have over 250-years of industry experience and we are proud that we have an age range from 16 up to our Operations Director Paul Dixon who is 64, and has 48-years-service with the company”.

“We not only invest in the latest equipment and technology to assist our customer but we also invest in training and developing our staff and we recently employed the 6th apprentice during my time with Clements. The judges saw that we stood out from hundreds of fellow Hire Companies for our service, knowledge, attention to detail and customer care and I am humbled by this award as it is judged by fellow Hirers in the UK”.
