Following recent collaboration with Prime Design, the business will now be providing the most innovative temporary lighting solutions available to purchase today. The business stock five Baselight models with features that will meet varying demands – the 320X, 420X, 600MX, 600MX Rail and 600MX Rail OLE.

First established for human rescue in disaster zones, the first demands of Baselight were to be easily transportable yet hardy enough to operate equally effectively in extreme weather conditions and a range of terrains. Over time, the Baselight range has evolved to become the world-leader in temporary lighting solutions for use in a range of industries such as rail, sport, and construction.

Heavy investment in research and development has led to significant innovation that has enabled a zero-emission temporary lighting solution without compromising on power, with up to 95,000 lumens at the disposal of the user with a zero-noise and zero-spillage power source thanks to a lithium-ion battery source. All models of the Baselight also eliminate the need of an RRV, easily transportable as a result of the adjustable mast and weighing in no higher than 47kg on the heaviest models.

The Baselight 320X is the most simplistic model available, with a manual mast rather than the fully automated alternative as well as 45,000 lumens at the disposal of the user. In contrast, the 600MX is the most technologically advanced model of Baselight with fully automated features enabling a ‘set and forget’ approach that allows ultimate focus on the job at hand whilst safe in the knowledge that the 600MX needs minimal attention to continue working effectively and efficiently.

This model has also been adapted specifically for the rail market thanks to synergy, leaning on Prime Design’s expertise in product development and Selectequip’s years of experience in supplying equipment to the rail industry. The result is a 600MX with Network Rail approval, becoming the only temporary lighting solution of this kind with such an accolade.
