One Stop Hire H.O
We spent some time looking at the floor plan for the event, and Dave was pleased to see that Hilti will be back exhibiting at Executive Hire Show 2026.
It was surprising (for me to consider) just how many of One Stop Hire’s suppliers will be under one roof, which means Dave can get a lot done during his visit. He and his team oversee the purchasing for the company’s extensive depot network and, as such, they are always on the lookout for new product innovations, which will be plentiful at the Show.
Dave commented that the company is in the midst of a really busy spell, so hopefully some of the ‘show only deals’ will catch his eye to help them keep up with demand in 2026!
Pet Hire - Crewe
One of my must-do visits each year is to PET Hire in Crewe. I called into the depot in mid-October, but when I did, MD Carl Banks was otherwise engaged 20m up in the air, which can be seen in the first picture. I left an EHS visitor leaflet, along with the floor plan, back then, so it was great to catch up with Carl this week.
PET Hire is a two-time winner of the single depot Passionate Hirer Award, and when you see the sheer scale and range of kit in the depot, it is easy to see why.
I spoke at length to Carl, who is intending to visit the show with his wife, Barbara.
Carl said, “We always enjoy visiting the show, and generally spend a considerable amount of money there. We are always on the lookout for something new to set us apart from our peers, and some of the speculative purchases we have made at the show over the years have contributed significant hire revenue to our business. Barbara and I are looking forward to attending the Executive Hire Party on Wednesday evening, as we have made several good friends there over the years!”
I walked Carl around the up-to-date floor plan for the show, and he is already taking note of the exhibitors that he is planning to catch up with!
