Fowler Hire and Sales
I have to admit, as part of my job, I'm pretty lucky to be able to spend time driving through some of the most beautiful parts of the Great British countryside. Travelling down the Devon Jurassic Coast is pretty special, topped off by spending time with the great people from our industry.
I dropped in to see Martin at Fowler Hire and Sales, based in Bridport, who has the good fortune of calling this part of the world his home. Martin and his father attend the Executive Hire Show every year, and 2026 will be no exception. Martin's celebrity status was confirmed by showing him that he and his father had made the front cover of the National Visitor Invitation Pack in one of the pictures!
Rocket Rentals
It is always a good time to catch up with Simon at Rocket Rentals, who has been a regular attendee of the Executive Hire Show for many years.
He heard the news that the excellent speaker, sports pundit and former Saracens, Bath and England Rugby International Prop, David 'Flats' Flatman would be hosting the 2026 Passionate Hirer Awards. Simon has friends who have attended events hosted by 'Flats', and they were incredibly impressed by his humour and how good a raconteur and storyteller he was.
Whenever I've seen rugby players as speakers, it's always the props that are the most entertaining (look at Joe Marler making it to Prime Time TV on BBC's Traitors recently), so I'm sure 'Flats' is going to make a great addition to what is already a fantastic event.

The Executive Hire Show is an absolute must for Leigh and her colleagues, spending close to two days there and, like most attendees, seeing what’s new in the market, what’s going to be that innovative new piece of kit which offers a great return on investment is high up on the list, as is meeting with existing suppliers.
The evening event is also a great way to kick back and relax in an informal atmosphere with some nice food and drink.
Local Tool Hire, London
A great visit to Mo at Local Tool Hire. Mo is a great fan of the Executive Hire Show and attends each year that he can. He loves the fact that he can get around, catch up with suppliers, and chat about what’s new in a friendly environment. The fact that lots of new products are on show is also a big draw, as he doesn’t always have time when running the business, and their social media presence. He always loves a bargain, so will be on the lookout for show-only deals!
Mo will definitely be there for 2026.

Plantmasters, Dunstable
Paul & Ernie of Plantmasters are loyal attendees of the Executive Hire Show; sometimes attending for both days, they enjoy looking at the new products, innovations, and potential niche products. Indeed, such is their commitment to our industry that they were recently shortlisted for the Passionate Hirer of the Year award.
Paul and Ernie like taking advantage of promotional offers at the show, and have previously made purchases from suppliers such as Golz Batt Paks, Altrad Belle, to name a few.
Always great to see them at the show.
