HIMOINSA has launched the HCOMPACT+, a robust mobile lighting tower built for demanding sites. It features a heavy-duty polyethylene canopy, LED technology, full connectivity and a highly efficient two-cylinder Yanmar engine.
Designed for construction and mining, the tower’s remote cooling system keeps noise levels low at 53 dB(A) and helps extend component life by protecting the engine area from dust, water and debris. It’s compact, easy to transport, and fitted with approved wheels and manual levelling for stable use on uneven ground. A hot-dip galvanised chassis, forklift pockets and a durable canopy improve protection and residual value.
Safety features include HIMOINSA’s Automatic Mast Operating Safety System, which prevents the unit moving unless the mast is fully lowered, plus internal locks and a 110% retention tray for spill control.
Lighting comes from four 350W LED lamps delivering 6,400 m² at 20 lux. The hydraulic mast reaches 8.3 metres and rotates 360°. Up to 12 units fit on a 13-metre trailer or 10 in a 40-foot container.
The Stage V Yanmar 2TNV70 engine uses less than 0.55 l/h and offers 400-hour running time and 600-hour service intervals.
The new CET8 control unit provides simple operation with auto mode, joystick mast control and CAN BUS connectivity for remote fleet management via C4Cloud.
The HCOMPACT+ joins HIMOINSA’s expanding lighting tower line-up, which includes the HBOX+ range and updated models such as the LED-equipped AS4006.
