Despite the current economic uncertainties and reported supply chain issues the compact plant hire and equipment industry remains resilient and is reporting a surge in business, which is excellent news for the hire market and the many diverse sectors it serves.
As the journey to achieve net zero by 2050 gains traction innovation and investment in new technology, particularly renewables and sustainable solutions, are at an all-time high, with many companies allocating a huge proportion of their budgets to the pursuit of green technology.
During the annual exhibitor ‘Kick-Off’ meeting, at the CBS Arena, which took place during the last week of September, the EHS team confirmed that the 16th annual hire event is now 85% sold.
The meeting experienced a record turn-out, with exhibitors both old and new taking time out of their busy schedules, to attend the event and networking lunch.
Chris Moore, Executive Hire Show Publishing and Event Director (pictured above) opened the proceedings highlighting the success of the previous Shows and how the 16th annual event is aiming even higher in terms of exhibitors and visitor attendance. Chris also said “Collaboration was the key to making the 2023 event the best one yet.”
Chris added, “We continue to receive regular stand enquiries from leading suppliers, so, once again we expect another sold out Executive Hire Show.”
There will be a new format for the Innovation Trail, which is very popular with manufacturers and suppliers, in 2023 Peter Haddock (Content with Media), will return to the event once again and will interview shortlisted candidates LIVE on their stands. These interviews are broadcast live across various social media platforms.
The Innovation Trail will have a renewed focus on equipment that employs new power sources, and sustainable technologies, or improves efficiency and environmental impact. Chris confirmed the criteria, “We are inviting entries from companies that are implementing new technologies to deliver efficiencies, cost savings or a better service, not forgetting emerging technologies that are paving the way to net zero.”

All the presentations/interviews will be recorded for social sharing and will be live-streamed to a LinkedIn audience of 15K+. Peter also plans to ‘live blog’ from the show – which went down a storm with hire audiences at the 2022 event.
