hirers from right across the UK and Ireland, to attend the Executive Hire Show!

During October, my visits started with a 4 day trip around Scotland starting in Inverness and, working my way South, calling in on hirers in all the major Towns and Cities. This included a visit to GAP Groups impressive Head Office in Glasgow.

One of the highlights of my visits each year is the four day tour of Ireland, where the welcome from the hirers is always amazing! My tour this year started with an early start on Monday 14th October when I travelled to Holyhead, and caught the ferry to Dublin. When I arrived in Dublin, I did a couple of visits in the City before heading to, Navan and Kells. The next day started in Coleraine where I visited the Head Office of, CP Hire. My next call was to McCarroll Plant Hire in Ballymena, where I caught up with Director, Michael McCarroll. Michael has been a loyal supporter and visitor of the Show for many years, and has already booked his flight from, Belfast to Birmingham for February 12th!

Michael commented; 'My trip to the 2024 Show was a great success, I visited the Sinoboom stand and made my first ever purchase from them. I added a 26ft. scissor lift and two of their 0608M scissor lifts, to our hire fleet which, have proved to be very popular! I also purchased two walk behind mowers, a heavy duty mower and field mower from Weibang, who I had never dealt with before, as I was impressed with the build quality. My final purchase of the day was a couple of cherry pickers from Niftylift. If I didn't visit the Show, I would have missed out on making these great additions to our hire fleet, so I would advise all hirers to take the time to, visit the 2025 Show because of the great opportunities, that it presents!'

Michael will be travelling to the Show with Allister Parke from Parkes Hire in Londonderry, who was my next port of call.

The rest of my tour of Ireland took me South, throughout Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ending up in Cork before travelling back to Dublin, to catch the ferry home in the evening. Lots of hirers were visited right across Ireland and I am pleased to report that, many of them will be attending the Industry's annual event on the 12th & 13th February 2025!

As October came to an end I visited Cumbria, Wrexham, the West Midlands and Lancashire, which included visits to the Head Offices of One Stop Hire and Smiths Equipment Hire.
