Steve McKenzie's October Updates

Following on from the great success of EHS 2022, it has been good to get back out there and hear, just how much hirers from all over the UK, enjoyed the event. Lots of 'Show only deals' were done and lots, of new products were added to hire fleets, generating new revenue streams for hirers that, attended!

My visits to date have taken me to Hull, Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford, Chorley, Burscough, Stoke and Cheshire. The response so far has been, very positive especially when I point out that there are already more than 20 new exhibitors signed up for the Show! I called in to Hodgson Tool Hire in Burscough and spoke at length to MD, Mike Hodgson and Hire Desk Supervisor & Transport Manager, Kevin Hilton, who are regular visitors to the Show. The company has 2 depots, their impressive location at Burscough with an impressive well stocked showroom, large secure yard with a vast selection of compact plant, powered access and gardening machinery. They also have an extensive range of tools and equipment in their fleet. Their second is a smaller depot on a high street location in Ainsdale, near Southport, which has a loyal local customer base.

Mike and Kevin visited this years Show and had a great day. Mike commented, "We caught up with a lot of our existing suppliers and had a look at what, new products they had to offer us. We were very impressed with the Grabo lifting products and made our initial purchase of them at the Show, we also did the deal for a Forst ST6D towable diesel 6" woodchipper. We are looking forward to visiting the 2023 Show, to see what other new products catch our eye!"
