  • Otley, Harrogate, Wetherby York, Bridlington and Scarborough.

As you can see, we are leaving no stone unturned to encourage hirers to visit what is going to be, a great Show!

It is great to see that hirers are prepared to travel considerable distance to get to the event and, two visits that stood out during January were, were Menai Tool Hire in Anglesey, 172.4 miles from the venue and Watson Tool Hire in South Shields, 205.6 miles from the venue. This is because they know that it is the biggest and best opportunity to get some, amazing deals and see an abundance of new and Innovative products in one place, in one day.

Having crossed the Menai Bridge to Anglesey, I called in to Menai Tool Hire and caught up with owners, Paul and Will Green.

I told them all about the exciting developments that will be at EHS 2024 and highlighted the fact, there are 32 new Exhibitors.

Paul and Will told me, they have not been able to make it to the last couple of Executive Hire Show's due to, the demands of work, but they are determined to be there this year. The commented; "During our previous visits to the Show, we have added several new products to our hire fleet including, a diamond saw bench for cutting porcelain paving products, they bought from CLM Construction Supplies. We will be on the lookout for new ideas and products, along with catching up with our existing supppliers."

Whilst spending a couple of days in the Northeast,, I called in to Watson Tool Hire in South Shields and spoke to owner, Gordon Watson.

Gordon was unable to visit EHS 2023 as they were in the process of moving to their new depot and, were coping with the joys of getting alarms fitted, dealing with BT and moving all their stock to the new location, whilst sending kit out on hire!

Gordon did visit the 2022 Show with his daughter and two sons and said, "We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and got a lot done, it was great to catch up with so many suppliers under one roof. We made several purchases, one of which was the addition of a Much Truck Mini Dumper to our hire fleet, which has gone down well with our customers. It was also nice to bump into other hirers and share experiences, as we are all in the same boat!"

See Gordan's picture in our introduction summary, holding the Executive Hire Show brochure.

I had a call on February 1st from Gavin Murphy, who owns A-Z Hire in Dublin and he informed me, his flights are booked, as is his hire car and is really looking forward, to his visit! This is another example of a forward-looking hirer who is prepared to invest the time, money and effort to be at the Executive Hire Show!
