Steve McKenzie's December Updates
Liverpool, Stoke, South Wales, Manchester, Staffordshire and West Yorkshire.
Once again, it is gratifying to see just how many hirers are really looking forward to the Executive Hire Show 2025. It was great to catch up with several of our fellow EHS exhibitors at the Roadshow in Newport, including Shindaiwa and Legends Brands, just like HSC, they are all spreading the word about the Show and we are all looking forward, to a busy Show.
One of my visits took me to Broadford Tool Hire in Bradford, where I caught up with owner Charles Hague. Charles very kindly took the time to send me a write up of his experience at the EHS 2024 Show.
"My wife Sarah and I visited the Hire Show in February, this year. I have been many times, but it was Sarah's first visit. We coincided it with a visit to the Caravan and Motorhome Show the following day, down the road in Birmingham, so it was a great couple of days. We stayed onsite at the hotel, courtesy of the Hire Show.
It was a great event as always, and good to meet up with suppliers and check out any new innovations. I was particularly interested in seeing all the new cordless tools and equipment. The Belle and Husqvarna Stand had loads of battery operated stuff that I was keen to, get my hands on. Off the back of the visit, we placed an order for battery cement mixers and stone saws from Belle. They had a show deal that was well worth taking advantage of.
We also placed orders at Legends Brands and The Hire Supply Company who always have, fantastic show deals on offer.
It really is a great opportunity to see loads of Industry relevant new tech all in one place. Also putting faces to names is always really nice. We met up with our pals Alex and Graham from TAG Tool Hire in the evening, at the bar and enjoyed catching up with some of the company representatives over a beer.
We will definitely be visiting again in February 2025!"
We look forward to welcoming Charles and Sarah to the show again, and it is great to see the tangible benefits that hirers get from visiting the event. For me, one of the most rewarding things about the Show is the fact, it brings hirers together to share experiences and support each other. Over the years, many friendships and alliances have been formed between hirers from all over the UK and Ireland!
