Congratulations to our winner: Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power -
Vanguard Engines with TransportGuard
Given the importance of protecting our environment and preserving resources, the 2010 Show featured a large Energy Zone, centrally located at the front of the exhibition hall.
The Energy Zone showcased products that help hirers and their customers meet such obligations as:
• better fuel efficiency
• less waste
• reduced carbon footprints
• encouraging recycling
• lowering power consumption
• extending product lifecycles
• preventing pollution
Speedy will sponsored the Energy Zone, as it has done for all previous Zones at the Show.
As in all previous years, entries were judged by an independent panel of leading hirers. This year’s panel comprised Speedy’s Supply Chain Director Andy Connor, Richard Coffey, MD of Supply UK Hire Shops, Carl Banks, MD of P.E.T. Hire and Matt Dolan, Director of Alpine Hire. EHN Editor Alan Guthrie completed the impressive
line-up.
The following nine products were selected as the Finalists in the Energy Zone:
