After more than 30-years at Thwaites, 20-years as Sales Director and three-years as Managing Director, Ian Brown has been appointed Deputy Chairman.

To provide continuity and advancement for colleagues Financial Director Simon Hill, who has been with the Company for eight years, becomes Managing Director. Tim Frost who has spent over 30-years in various key positions is promoted to the management team as Commercial Manager. Current UK Sales Manager Andy Sabin who has worked at Thwaites for more than 20-years is appointed to the position of General Sales Manager for UK and Export markets.

Ian Brown said, “These changes will further develop the business as we maintain our investment in the factory and product development with the focus on enhancing our customer base in UK and Export markets."

Thwaites is a 'veteran' Executive Hire Show Exhibitor and will be back in 2020 with its range site dumpers, including the new cab option. 

The new Thwaites Level 2 ROPS and FOPS cab protect the operator with an engineered, reinforced structure, to reduce injury from machine overturn or falling objects. 

The new cab option is available on the 9-tonne forward tip, 6-tonne forward tip and 6-tonne powerswivel dumpers.

Operators and on-site personnel are further protected with the inclusion of a fully integrated camera system. Compliant to ISO 5006, and waterproof to IP67. This system provides the operator with 360-degree all-round visibility.
