New exhibitors Cemo Safe Storage said via Facebook that they had a good show with some very positive responses. MCS-rm Hire and Rental Software reported a fantastic first day and an overall very good show and is already looking forward to next year. AFI Uplift, MHM Plant and Genset reported on twitter that they too had a fantastic show!

One exhibitor who was particularly happy about the show was first-time exhibitor Global Construction Plant & Equipment, who triumphed in the Innovation Zone at the Executive Hire Show, with its Pro-Screen PG12V-84 battery powered screener. Hirers visiting the Show voted it as their favourite from 14 Finalists that had been selected by an independent panel of hire professionals.

Powered by heavy-duty batteries providing up to 11 hours’ continuous use, the screener accepts screens varying from 6 to 100mm, which can be changed in less than five minutes. The deck can be angled to suit wet or dry material and the machine can be moved on site using pallet forks or machine buckets.

As it does not require an electricity supply, the machine can be used in many outdoor locations, enabling users to meet on-site recycling responsibilities. It can screen materials as diverse as soil, gravel, drainage materials and aggregates, appealing to many markets for creating compost, mulch, chippings and other re-useable materials.

The Innovation Zone, whish is sponsored by Speedy Hire, celebrates new equipment addressing issues that hirers and end users are concerned about, such as safety, efficiency, quality and environmental impact. Other Finalists ranged from cordless power tools and work at height solutions, to fuel efficient engines and low energy lighting towers.

The Finalists were displayed in the large Innovation Zone situated in the new ‘Top Tier’ of the Show. All visitors were invited to vote for their favourite product by leaving a business card in the ballot box beside their chosen item, with the Pro-Screen emerging as the winner.

Build-up is now well and truly under way for the sixth Executive Hire Show at the Ricoh Arena! When the event opens its doors at 8am tomorrow, no fewer than 132 exhibitors will be ready to show their latest products and do business with passionate hirers.

From Access Industries and BGG, to Youngman and Zenith, the Show literally represents an A-Z of key industry suppliers. And many will be offering exclusive Show-only deals. 53) Smart Lights are launching the The IQ MT-10. The world’s first wind reactive, mobile lighting tower. When a safe wind speed limit is reached, the MT-10 detects this and automatically manages its own mast by lowering to a safe height totally eliminating the risk of toppled towers. The tower remains at a safe height and can only be raised manually to ensure a visual safety and stability inspection is carried out before returning the mast to its maximum height.

54) STIHL is showing yet another exclusive and major development at the Executive Hire Show in the form of the TS 500i – the world’s first cut-off saw with electronic fuel injection.

59) Tracmaster will be launching a new line of CAMON log splitters stand C40. The new product line includes the SP4E 4 Ton Log Splitter, compact but powerful, it can reduce logs into manageable sizes and create kindling. The simple to operate SP4E is highly manoeuvrable and requires a minimum of maintenance and upkeep.

60) Western Environmental pushes another additional 50-pages into its annual catalogue and celebrates 50-years of Business this year! Clean fuel and clean fuel tanks have been on the mind of the Western’s R&D department for the last two years and is pleased to introduce this year the new Diesel Diamond range of fuel polishing and tank cleaning trollies!

49) Russon Access Platformswill be showing its latest range of power scissor lifts, which have a working height of up to 6m. The company says that the machines have no batteries, no hydraulics, no motors, no pumps and require virtually no maintenance.

But the company did reveal that they will be featuring ‘Safety Talks’, a unique multi-lingual training package for the industry, to support other extensive and fully accredited training initiatives on Dust Management, Vibration Awareness and Correct & Safe Use training programmes.

32) MCS will be demonstrating the latest .NET release of its hire management software MCS-rm designed for hire companies to help them grow their business, increase profitability whilst reducing costs.

33) Metabois showing the new MAG 28 LTX 32 Cordless MAG-Drill – a world first! A full Corded and Cordless Stainless Steel Inox Processing Range. 35) MOBA is showcasing its solutions for earthmoving and road construction machinery, for example its excavator systems as well as the 2D and 3D machine control systems for graders and dozers.

12) DURO UK is launching the new DURO HDF – High Density Forged – range of diamond blades. The HDF range of blades are considered the safest on the market today. 16) Genquip/Groundhog are launching five products at this year’s Show. The GP360 Fusion+ Range offers environmental benefits and savings whilst maintaining the ease of use and robustness of its partner the GP360. SW6100 Fusion+ static range will also be launched giving users an exceptional build quality along with facilities all site operatives demand. 17) Global Plant is launching their new PVG12V-84 compact screener. The new machine is a 12 volt powered portable vibratory screener which will screen up to 20 m3 per hour. This screener is lightweight, portable and designed to be easily moved and operated with a skid steer, bucket tractor, backhoe, compact loader and small excavators.

19) HAE, in partnership with HSE, are presenting demonstrations on effective PPE to eliminate the dangers of Dust and Noise and Vibration. On the second day of the show, Thursday 9 February 2012, in the Jaguar Suite of the Ricoh Arena, demonstrations and presentations will take place to encourage passionate hirers to recommend and promote the correct PPE to their customers when hiring equipment. The demonstrations and presentations will take place between 11.30 am and 1.00 pm and will be followed by a free, buffet lunch.
