Executive Hire Show – Top Tier Focus – Part One!

Next week (1oth &11th February) the 10th Executive Hire Show throws open its doors to Hire professionals.  It’s a record year with 183 exhibitors – the biggest show ever.  The new ‘Top Tier’ is for light equipment and the EHS team say that this extension of the show will merge seamlessly with the Atrium and Main Hall stands.  Visitors will find more than 30 exhibitors on the Top Tier with many brand new products and show only deals!  A visit to the Top Tier – could pay dividends and get you some brand new innovative kit too!

Here’s a look at the first 15 companies on the Top Tier of the 10th annual Executive Hire Show.

Abinx Solutions TT46

Abnix Solutions - The Tool Hire Company Website Package.

Aksa Power Generation offers its customers a comprehensive range of generating sets. The products are manufactured to ISO 9001 standards and undergo thorough factory testing and inspection before delivery, to ensure total customer satisfaction.

For over 40 years, the company has manufactured petrol, diesel, natural gas powered machines, including rental specification and marine sets, as well as lighting towers and ancillary equipment. The company prides itself on its ability to provide multiple generators for parallel operation connecting to the main grid network.

The sets are offered with a choice of engines from suppliers such as Cummins, Perkins, Mitsubishi, Doosan and John Deere, and with alternators from Mecc Alte and Stamford.

Blue Diamond STL TT36

Blue Diamond STL is promoting two brands at this year’s Show. The Warrior range is a comprehensive portfolio of trailer and towable equipment spares, load lashing straps and lifting slings of various makes. The company says its friendly, experienced team are always on hand to provide technical support and a next-morning delivery service from its new 48,000 sq ft distribution centre in Doncaster.

The second brand being highlighted is Prosolve, comprising a range of construction and engineering consumables, from line marking aerosols to industrial tapes, which are seen as a useful addition for expanding trade counter product lines and profitability.

Bristol Street Motors Ford Bolton TT60

Formally known as Gordon’s Ford, Bristol Street Motors Ford Bolton has maintained the dealership’s focus on customer service. It says that its commercial department is now able to offer vehicles that are specially modified to handle the rigours of the hire market. Its trained technicians are on hand in a specialist workshop to undertake any maintenance work.

CanTrack Global Ltd TT76

Chicago Pneumatic at the EHS

CanTrack Global is the new name for Custodia Systems, known for its AppelloGEO theft recovery system, now operating as CanTrack Asset. It says that, with £300m worth of assets under its protection and the UK’s only private tracking investigation team of ex-Police officers, no-one better placed to protect hirers’ valuable assets.

The company is showing the new generation of CanTrack Asset, designed for the plant industry. It is claimed to be virtually indestructible, containing thief-proof technology such as anti-jam and detection, and a suite of sensors for monitoring temperature, equipment damage, overturning, unauthorised movement from a location and minute-by-minute asset utilisation reports.

Champion Generators TT124

Champion Power Equipment describes itself as a US market leader in portable generators, with years of experience providing dependable and durable power products, designed and engineered in the US for the North American and world markets.

The machines are now available in the UK and Europe. The manufacturer specialises in commercial, industrial and home stand-by power products. Champion says all models are tested in the most demanding environments imaginable, to ensure that the maximum quality and performance levels are achieved and that the relevant certification can be passed and maintained.

Chicago Pneumatic TT70

Chicago Pneumatic is showing its range of hand-held construction equipment for the first time at this year’s Show. The line-up includes the new Red Hawk, described as a highly portable petrol-powered breaker, tie tamper or drill. Also on show will be the new MS595 rammer, which has been re-designed with productivity and manoeuvrability in mind, and a new 14in asphalt plate.

Also on display will be other well-known CP equipment, including pneumatic breakers, rivet busters, scabblers, clay diggers, hammers and drills. Visitors will also be able to view the PAC 9 hydraulic power pack and breaker.

Coelmo TT40

Founded in 1946, Coelmo designs and manufactures industrial and marine generating sets from 3kVA up to 3000 kVA. It constantly invests in industrial and technological R&D, to combine the reliability of traditional power sources with innovative green techniques.

The company provides generating sets to several markets, including telecommunications, oil and gas, the military, humanitarian organisations, leisure and commercial marine markets, and its says it supports commissioning of equipment and after-sale services anywhere, any time.

Diaquip T132

Diaquip describes itself as a progressive manufacturer and global provider of professional diamond cutting tools, from diamond core drills, blades and wire, to a new range of machinery incorporating the latest technology.

At the Show, the company is excited to be offering a new electric handsaw and an accompanying ‘dust ski’ to address the issue of workplace dust hazards and related diseases like silicosis.

Henton & Chattell TT11

The Henton & Chattell stand will be home to the Billy Goat range of heavy duty clean up equipment.

Henton & Chattell, a leading UK garden and machinery distributor, will showcase models from the heavy-duty Billy Goat equipment range, including leaf vacuums, blowers, brush cutters, debris loaders, aerators and scarifiers, including units in the new ‘Plugr’ line-up, which was introduced to the Billy Goat line last year.

There will also be information on the new range of power products from Briggs & Stratton. The new line-up for 2016 includes four generators, comprising petrol and electric models, and the Elite and Sprint series of pressure washers designed to meet the requirements for work at all types of properties and different applications.

Kranlyft UK will be exhibiting two Maeda mini cranes, one of which is the compact MC174CRM model.

Kranlyft UK will be exhibiting two Maeda mini cranes, one of which is the compact MC174CRM model, which is only 590mm wide and has a lift capacity of up to 1720kg. It has a programmable safe load indicator and can be operated via remote control.

Also on display will be the MC285CRM. The diesel version will be on show, and a version with an electric motor is available. At just 750mm but with a 2.85-tonne lifting capacity, the latest model has improves safety characteristics and offers easier operation. An optional 300/850kg searcher hook and auxiliary winch can be added to the machine.
