A warm welcome awaits visitors to the Shindaiwa stand at the Executive Hire Show where the company will be exhibiting its range of welder-generators which have proved extremely popular with UK hirers, including several major players in the market now running large fleets.

Shindaiwa will be exhibiting its range of welder-generators which have proved extremely popular with UK hirers

Although a new name in this country, Shindaiwa of Japan has established a worldwide reputation for designing and manufacturing high quality equipment since being established in 1952.

On display will be three models with welding outputs of 165, 200 and 300 amp which are claimed to be the quietest, most reliable and powerful units currently available on the market.

Features which have helped establish Shindaiwa in the UK include an advanced system of auto-idle, fitted as standard on the ECO165UK and ECO300UK models. After a period of inactivity, this system automatically sets the optimum engine speed for the job in hand without first running at maximum rpm, hence reducing fuel consumption, noise and engine wear.

Shindaiwa’s welder-generators are also very quiet in operation. For example, the trailer-mounted ECO300UK unit has a noise level of just 88 dB (LWA) thanks to the design of the sound-proofed canopy around its fuel-efficient Kubota diesel engine.

This top-of-the-range model is equipped with an extra large, 37 litre capacity fuel tank which is able to provide up to 3 days use. Also, the ECO300UK features a 3-phase 415 v, 8 kVA supply for operating a wide variety of welding equipment in addition to its standard, single phase 110 v CTE, 3 kVA output.
