For decades Bosch rotary hammers have been setting standards in performance, efficiency and lifetime – the company is using the Executive Hire Show 2012 to celebrate 80 years at the forefront of hammer technology.
1932 saw the launch of the EH600 Professional, the first demolition hammer with rotary hammer mechanism. 45 years later the SDS-plus tool holder system was invented by Bosch followed by the SDS-max tool holder in 1990. In the intervening years Bosch was working on cordless technology and launched the world’s first cordless rotary hammer.
In more recent years innovations have included the world’s first hammer with Vibration Control, a feature which continues to be of high importance within this market sector. 2010 saw the launch of the GSH 27 VC Professional, which at the time of its launch, was the world’s most powerful electric breaker.
In 2012 Bosch will launch yet more new products in this segment, starting with the GBH 2-24 DF Professional 2kg SDS Plus rotary hammer, a powerful all-rounder with 25% more power, impact energy and lifetime than its predecessor. New 8kg and 11kg machines will follow later in the year, but as a special preview the tools will be on the Bosch stand B26 at the Executive Hire Show along with Bosch’s full range of hammers, focusing on the key attributes of user safety, increased productivity and longevity.
The Executive Hire Show takes place at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on 8th and 9th February 2012. You can follow the show on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn – all links are on the home page of the website. www.executivehireshow.co.uk
