The Innovation Zone at the Executive Hire Show has always drawn a lot of interest from exhibiting companies and visitors. This year the zone has attracted the unprecedented amount of 40 nominations. Of these, the team of five independent judges, have shortlisted no less than 14 products, which they felt worthy of being chosen to be ultimately judged by visitors who attend the 6th annual Executive Hire Show – which is being held at its established home on 8th and 9th February at the Ricoh Arena Coventry.
The new ‘Top Tier’ extension of the event is the new home of the Innovation Zone. The main hall of the show sold out in record time and demand for extra space prompted the Executive Hire Show organisers to expand the show by adding the ‘Top Tier’ especially for ‘light equipment’. To date 14 new exhibitors have signed on the dotted line to exhibit ‘upstairs’- take a look at the floor plan.

Hire of Crewe; Andy Earll, MD of Ace Line Plant of Rugeley; and EHN Editor Alan Guthrie.

“Overall, the judges were very impressed by the quality and variety of the entries, which ranged from cordless power tools and work at height solutions, to fuel efficient engines and low energy lighting towers,” said Alan Guthrie.
“This demonstrates the value of the Innovation Zone, which celebrates new equipment addressing issues that hirers and end users are concerned about, such as safety, efficiency, quality and environmental impact. It also proves that manufacturers continue to invest in R&D, developing new products that hirers need to keep informed about by visiting the Show.”
