The Executive Hire Show will see Ranger Equipment showcasing ‘new generation’ machines at the smaller end of Teupen’s Leo tracked spider lift range.

The UK hire industry will have its first opportunity to inspect Teupen’s latest launch, the all-new 15.5m working height (w/h) Leo 15GT Plus, which will be on display at the show’s south entrance. This new lift, packed with new features, introduces a premium specification 15m model to sit above the standard Leo 15GT which will be revamped and relaunched in the future.

The Leo 15GT Plus will on display at the show for the first time.

The Leo 15GT Plus has advances not available on the standard machine as well as enhancements being made across the Teupen range under its ‘facelift’ programme.

A 7.9m maximum working outreach improves on the old model by 1.5m, and can be used at full 200kg platform capacity. This outreach and capacity, in combination with the very compact 3m stabiliser base, retained from the standard machine, sets a new lead for 15m spiders. The Leo 15GT Plus also gains an extra 0.6m of working height over its predecessor, and a fully independent 90 degree fly jib.

In common with other ‘facelift’ machines, the new model has a larger Z602 KUBOTA diesel power engine, with the latest fuel-efficient power management system for faster drive and boom speed. The platform control unit can be detached for remote operation of the platform via a wander-lead.

Inside the show on stand E10, Ranger will be showing Teupen’s smallest machine, the Leo13GT with 12.8m w/h, maximum 6.10m lateral outreach and 200kg capacity. Ranger is planning to unveil a new power option for this machine during the show, developed specifically for the tool and plant hire sector.

When it was launched two years ago, the Leo 13GT introduced a number of innovative features being rolled out in Teupen’s current ‘facelift’ programme, including a low-maintenance finish and automatic self-levelling outriggers.

The Executive Hire Show takes place at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on 8th and 9th February 2012.  You can follow the show on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn – all links are on the home page of the website.  www.executivehireshow.co.uk
