The 6th annual Executive Hire Show is taking place on the 8th and 9th February at Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The show has become a ‘Mecca’ for hire industry professionals and each year its support grows and more blue chip companies’ sign on the dotted line to exhibit. Indeed, this year more than 12-new companies have committed alongside EHS veterans, raising the exhibitor numbers to more than 110. A new ‘Top Tier’ has been added to the show to meet the demand for more space.

The show has always focused on new products that meet the hire industries specific needs and this year the event will once again feature a huge ‘Innovation Zone’, sponsored by Speedy Hire. This zone, which has been relocated to the ‘Top Tier’ of the show, will include the very latest innovations in new tools, plant and equipment – there will be a great focus on safety, efficiency, quality and most topically, the environmental impact – which both hirers and end users in turn are majorly concerned with.

Exhibitors are invited to submit products which they consider would be best placed in the Zone. These submissions will be judged by an independent panel of leading hirers and those successful products will take their place in the Innovation arena. The EHS 2011 Innovation Zone received a record 36 entries – with 13 companies shortlisted for the prestigious Award. Zarges, won the Award in 2011 for its Teletower.

This year’s judging panel comprises Speedy’s supply chain director Andy Connor, managing director of Supply UK Hire Shops Richard Coffey, and two more independent hirers. Executive Hire News editor Alan Guthrie – completes the line-up.

As a visitor to the show, you will be invited to vote for your favourite product by simply leaving a business card in the ballot box beside your chosen item – you’ll also be automatically entered into a prize draw to win £500.00!

The winning exhibitor will be announced at the show on the last day at 3pm (Thursday 9th February) and will be presented with the Speedy Innovation award!
