DEWALT will launch several new ranges of tools to meet the needs of the Hire Industry during 2012. The expansion of the market leading and innovative XR Li-Ion range will be previewed at the Executive Hire Show in February. The additions to the range, and long awaited for 18V XR jigsaw, grinder and bare units will provide increased runtime, power and performance over previous models whilst reducing tool downtime via protection from the intelligent switch. The intelligent switch provides tool protection which prevents tool and battery failure, and ultimately increases end user experience. DEWALT is so confident of the new XR Li-Ion range that it is also providing a three year warranty.
Other product launches for 2012 include a new dust extraction system called “Air Lock”. This revolutionary system allows quick connection from any power tool to any dust extraction unit via a range of unique adaptors. Aimed at improving health and safety on site these new adaptors offer something completely different to the hire industry.

New accessories include a depth setting device for accurately setting drilling depth for fixings, trespa saw blades and a new diamond edged abrasive chopsaw blade. All of which complement DEWALT’s extensive range of accessories
Recent launches in 2011 also include a new 305mm mitre saw (DWS780) with huge cutting capacities, a new polisher and a new 16kg hammer (D25960K) with ultra-low vibration, ultimate performance and unrivalled durability.
