Jaama plant sales manager Andrew Inns said: “I’ve specialised in the IT plant equipment management sector for many years and I believe that Jaama’s technology is a leader in its field.”

The comprehensive, complete business system covers all aspects of plant, asset, stores management, the hire of both single items and plant packs, rehire, operator hire and management, sale items, ordering, quotations, contracts, equipment maintenance and invoicing and is available with an optional accounts module.

The web-enabled system has been in use for almost two years by one of the UK’s largest public service and infrastructure management companies, to manage its 30,000 items of plant equipment as well as its entire fleet of 4,500 vehicles and workshops.

A record almost 2,000 people attended last year’s Show and Jaama managing director Jason Francis believes many of them would benefit from using cutting-edge software to manage equipment.

He said: “Ultimately Key2 Rental Management significantly reduces administration and paper work. It delivers comprehensive management financial and operational reports and provides managers with a complete audit trail of equipment from initial quotation, through ordering, usage and on to disposal in one seamless system.”

Francis added: “A number of businesses and some public sector fleets operate a significant amount of plant machinery. There is no doubt that Key2 Rental Management can integrate with other business systems enabling administration across a number of departments.”

Jaama reported that almost 700 public and private sector organisations running fleets ranging in size from just a handful of vehicles to many thousands of cars, light commercials and HGVs and plant equipment already use Jaama’s Key2 system to meet their requirements.
